Larry Tracewell is the Founder of Caretta Workspace and Designer of all of the beautiful and functional desks, tables, led lamps and other unique Caretta products.
When we say the word "luxury" it may bring to mind visions of fancy sports cars and lavish homes, but luxury doesn't always mean over-the-top or unattainable. At Caretta, we show you what luxury really means. The Caretta line of quality desks and office accessories offers a version of luxury that is both practical and indulgent. What does luxury mean to us?
Having the proper desk for your work is important, but there’s a lot more that goes into a functional workspace than just a flat surface. Desk and office accessories can keep you organized, shed light in dark corners, and offer plenty of space
We know you shop around when deciding to purchase a new piece of furniture, especially centerpiece furniture such as a desk which may have a higher price tag. That’s okay. There are some very nice offerings at stores such as Pottery Barn and Cr
It’s the start of a new year and that means it’s time to set your wellness goals for 2018. Many people make plans for a New Year Resolution, but don’t follow through on it. The Wellston Executive Sit-Stand Desk is a one-of-a-kind wo
Each Caretta desk, table and accessory is designed with safety in mind. Whether its the lifting columns in our Wellston Sit-Stand Desk or the cable management system built into each desk, safety is always a concern for us.
We call our Wellston desk the “Executive Sit-Stand Desk”, because that’s what it is. It’s a highly engineered, precision crafted, solid hardwood adjustable standing desk that raises and lowers between 29" and 50" with the flick of a wrist.
Our desk names have always been called Type 1 or Type 2 depending on the size desired by you, our customers. Well it was time for a change, and we want you to be the first to know! Our desks and tables will now be offered in a “Petite” and “Full” size.
At Caretta Workspace, we love designing and manufacturing products that help to take the stress out of organizing. We may not have invented the concept of organization, but we did add a luxurious and contemporary element. All our products mentioned above are easy to assemble and help complete the perfect workspace or room.
We decided to use steel screws over wood screws for one main reason, wood screws lose their grip after being assembled and reassembled a few times. The machine in our factory that makes this all possible is the Steel Threaded Inserter.
Cherry hardwood has a timeless quality to it, with a beautiful natural color and unique grain pattern. It’s durable, easy to work with and has a soft smooth finish.
The hallmark of great design is found in products that are both simple and elegant, yet highly functional. Every Caretta luxury desk has been thoughtfully designed with these principals in mind. Combining a desk that is designed for the latest comput
A desk that has power strips and precise places for wires and cords built right into the desk. No more tangles, no more unsightly cables hanging down from your desktop, no more tripping over cords every time you go to sit down, no more power strip power outages.
At Caretta, we strive to design and manufacture the highest quality, most functional and attractive desks, tables, bookshelves, and other furniture available for office and home.
If there’s a place that should offer you respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life, then that’s definitely your home. But when it’s not precisely the eye candy you’d wish for, it’s time to shake things up a bit.
In addition to the many desk, tables, hutches, bookshelves, and other fine wood products that we have made here at Caretta Workspace in 2016, we also recognized the importance of giving back. We were honored to support some causes that are near and dear to our hearts including our ongoing commitment to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology.
