What is covered?

Any defects arising from workmanship or defective materials. This includes all standard desks, tables and companion products that we manufacture. It covers all material, hardware, and mechanical parts, including motors, control boxes and other electrical components.

 

What is not covered?

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use and aging
  • Non-standard or custom products
  • Damage that is caused by: misuse, improper assembly/disassembly, improper handling, unauthorized attempted repairs or modifications, any third-party component, fire, flood, or natural disaster
  • Charges for repair or work done by anyone not authorized by Caretta
  • Finishes or materials damaged by foreign objects or chemicals not recommended in the care and maintenance guidelines
  • Shipping damage is covered under a different policy.

 

How does the warranty work?

The warranty period begins when the product is delivered and is valid only to the original purchaser of the product. We will replace or repair any part or parts eligible under the warranty that are reported within the window of the warranty period. Warranty requests must be submitted to sales@carettaworkspace.com and must include a description of the issue, and photos or a video of any defect before assessing the issue. It may be necessary to return items for assessment or repair, but we will not accept any items returned without prior written authorization from Caretta. We will cover shipping costs of any warranty claim made within the first year of the warranty period. If it is determined that the damage was caused by misuse, shipping costs will be at the customers expense.

 

30 Day Return Policy

Return requests are accepted within 30 days of receipt of product. To request a return, email a written request for an RMA number to sales@carettaworkspace.com. RMA numbers expire after 30 days. Ship the items back to 635 Enterprise Drive, Lewis Center, OH 43035, and write the RMA number on each of the boxes. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.  For a full refund of the item price, returned items must be in unused condition and in the original packaging.  Upon return inspection, if it is determined that items are damaged, refunds will be made, less the cost to repair the damage. Modified, custom, clearance items, and international shipments are not returnable.

 

Shipping Damage Policy

Upon receipt, please inspect your package and notify us of any damage immediately. If you can see any visible damage to the product, please refuse delivery of that box. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, we require that you send us photographs via email to sales@carettaworkspace.com, so that we can assess and correct the situation. Retain all damaged shipping boxes and packaging. Products must be returned in original packaging. All claims must be reported within 7 days of receipt of products.
